In 2016, aluminum balisongs were controversial and many people believed that aluminum wasn't a viable material due to its low durability. Our first product, the Squidtrainer, changed that notion and redefined what was possible by being the first channel aluminum trainer with press-fit zen pins. That product created the foundation for Squid Industries and the rest of the balisong industry.

The Swordfish pushes the limit yet again by being the first production balisong to feature an all-aluminum pinless design. After months of trial and error, stress testing, community feedback, and numerous iterations, we are excited to announce that the Swordfish is ready to swim. Its lightweight design and excellent ergonomics make it a great balisong for both new and advanced flippers. Not a fan of the balance profile? The Swordfish comes equipped with a modular weight pin system which allows the user to install up to two weight pins in each handle (weight pins are included with each Swordfish). Manufactured and assembled in the USA.
