The Krake Raken V3 (formerly known as the Kraken), is the industry leading butterfly knife that sets the gold standard for competitive flipping. The Krake Raken has several blade options including the Tanto, Bowie, Weehawk, and Trainer.
The Krake Raken balisong butterfly knife, originally introduced in 2019, is the first live-blade offering from Squid Industries. It features 7075 aluminum alloy channel handles and an AEB-L stainless steel blade. The Krake Raken is engineered for optimal ergonomics and grip with a machined texture, tapered handles, and a chamfered spine.
The Weehawk blade, inspired by the legendary Benchmade 42, aims to offer a familiar yet unique flipping experience in the Krake Raken lineup. While the single-edged spearpoint style might give an impression of a strong handle bias, its wider and longer profile creates a balance point that falls in between the Bowie and Tanto.
