The Samurai Kiridashi design is a very versatile knife. The Karambit inspired finger grip allows the knife to be held by the pinky while performing other tasks without having to put the knife down. The finger grip and thumb grip at the butt of the knife also allows for the index finger for a reserve hold as a self-defense knife. With a Japanese style "Kiridashi" style blade suggests the inspiration behind the name. A great EDC tool.
Blade Stee - 1095
Blade - 3' x 1 1/2" x 5/32" Hardened to 60+/- Satin Finish. Rough vertical grind blade finish. The tip has a subtle swedge. The edge is tough and hair shaving sharp.
Handle - 4 1/4"L x 1 1/2"-3/4"W x 1" H. Hole is just shy of 1" and rounded. Perfectly book-matched scales are a set of stabilized Eucalyptus burl combined with pigmented resin set on black G10 linerswith Nickel Silver pins. Fore grip and rear thumb grip has jimping with smoothed corners and "Bat" file work along the spine. Finished with boiled Linseed oil. Comes with a stand made of the same handle material.
Sheath - Wet molded for custom fit. All sheaths made by Dellenger Knives are made with professional 6-8 oz Veg Tanned Leather. All hand made, glued, cut, drilled, hand shaped, sanded, burnished, and soaked in Fiebings Professional Dye. Hand saddle stretched. Inside and out coated with Saddle Lac or Neetsfoot oil followed by Snoseal for moisture resistance. Makers mark on knife and sheath. Stamped with the makers mark and DRIGK (DAMN RIGHT I GOT KNIVES)
